Name: Dr. Louis Zammit Mangion E-mail: louis@phys.um.edu.mt Phone: (2340) 2454 Office: Room 208, 1st floor, Maths & Physics Building Dr. Zammit Mangion obtained his B.Sc. in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Malta in 1978, and his Ph.D., in Solid State Physics, from the University of Bath (UK) in 1982. Following a year's post-doctoral research at the University of St.Andrews (Scotland), he was employed in the Quality Department of semiconductor manufacturer SGS-Thomson (Malta) Ltd. for nine years before joining the University in June 1992. Dr. Zammit Mangion currently lectures on Mechanics, Electronics and Solid-State Physics and is responsible for the Second and Third Year Laboratory sessions.
